About Spray Tanning
FDA Approved
Spray tanning is an application of a solution containing the active ingredient DHA (Dihydroxyacetone). DHA is considered to be safe and has been FDA approved for cosmetic use. The solution is sprayed on to the skin manually by a technician. This is a much more detailed custom/hands-on method.
All people are different
There are however, occasions where individuals may be allergic to one or more ingredients in the spray tan solution. Please let me know of any past allergic reactions to DHA products, self-tanning products, or moisturizers. You may experience similar effects to spray tanning. Be advised there is a small percentage of people whose skin does not react favorably to spray tanning. For this reason, I DO NOT advise being sprayed for the FIRST TIME when your appearance is critical; e.g., wedding, special occasion, modeling assignment, etc. I recommend trying it before these occasions just to be safe!!
Caution
If you have a history of asthma, other respiratory, or medical conditions that could be aggravated by the use of spray tanning, please consult a physician before session. Pregnant or nursing women should also consult their physician before their session
Warning
This product DOES NOT contain sunscreen and DOES NOT protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning or in the sun may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn. SO ALWAYS WEAR SUNSCREEN!!
